Here is a copy of some of the artwork for this compilation CD, which is due to drop in the next few days (week?). It is a good chunk of my live set at Sonar Festival in Barcelona last year, lotsa cool and groovy electronic-flavored house and techno with some dubby elements in there as well; it was actually quite a lot of fun and got a fantastic response. The compilation was defintely mixed live, with some of the audience in there as well, so if you put on your headphones you can feel like you were there.

Can't wait for this!
That afternoon was something special, so it'll be good to relive it at home.
Really good to see the tracklisting too... i remember being sat at the back with a load of other people from Birmingham and hearing what i thought was Rue East's Birmingham - que a bit of cheering and a few of us dashed to the front. Turned out to be a mix i'd never heard before (Surgeon), but i was glued to the dancefloor by then.
Hold on! FK's not playing another Surgeon track is he? It sounds suspiciously like one of his productions... que lots of leaping up and down from a small contingient of the crowd! We went expecting Body and Soul and got House of God (our local techno club where Surgeon is resident). Top stuff.
Such happy memories of dancing in the sun and waving to the families on the balconies surrounding the venue.
I trust it's going to be on general release? |

Wow!
Didn't know it meant so much to FK either, or was such a sudden turning point. I've got some great photos of that afternoon to look at whilst listening to it - if i hold them close enough to my face and turn the central heating up full it'll be kinda like being there. |
