Harvey's recent live performance with us on a late night after the club gig in San Diego, California, in two parts.
Pay attention: Two of Harvey's new tracks are on board. First at 37:30 after Gaznevada. Bass line is similar to "Death of a Disco Dancer" by the Smiths and called "Map of Africa." The Smiths tune was unbeknownst to him. Eerie. The next at at 70:50 after Phil Myson. This track is unfinished so be kind.
On the second part, pay attention to the impromptu song created once the record begins to skip, skip, skip....true genius. About 8:30 in.

I think that's why I like that board so much. I'm a fucking balearic geek!!! Gimme Sa Trincha and you give me Heaven.
Last time I was with Harv, we went by Bernie Grundman Mastering and he talked to Chris Bellman, an engineer, about pressing new vinyl for him. This means it's in the works, but no dates are set.
Harv is coming down again on July 17th. I'll be sure to put the screws to him regarding release info. I'll pass it along to you as soon as there's any thing to tell. |

I love my balearic stuff but know nothing compared to some of the lads on Dj History.Have you been to Ibiza lately?
I was there last year, spent most of the time at Kumaharas beach bar.The music was spot on with live chellos and spanish guitars playing alongside balearic tracks.Sa trinch was as good as ever.Pure Bliss!

Last time I was in Ibiza was in 2000. Didn't make it to one 'club.' I spent my days dancing at Salinas and nights at Kumaharas. I think we are soul brothers. Kumaharas is my favorite spot...maybe in the world...outside of San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico, on the Sea of Cortez.
BTW, I'll be in Ibiza in September for one week. Looking forward to it. Partytime!

anyone know that track on the mix part 2 right early on that no-one on dj history could get ?
thought it was noticeable they couldn't get the newer tracks.
anyway, its about the 3rd track and is a little bit of click house dub. sounds like the sort of thing sentrall (out of l.a) might do.
also, no-one has posted that addvibe's lov and happiness is on before danial wang. is it cos its too 'easy' or cos its newish they didn't mention it. god, i'm getting spotter paranoia here! find dj history quite frightening to be honest. not in a inferiority type of way though. o no.
confused and need of help... |

If the track on mix two your talking about comes in right after the skipping and impromptu live platter percussion, then it's Phil Mison as Cantoma - The Call (Banzai Republic mix). Super Balearic style.
